Tirvit Used On JRG Cable AK150


TIRVIT consists of a guide chassis on which a hinged lever is mounted to drive alternately two self-clamping cams. These cams slide on the guide chassis and tighten on the cable or the wire to be tensioned. The other end of the guide chassis has a hook for connection to an anchorage point to be used for pulling.

Each time the lever is moved, the cams move in the opposite direction over the chassis, one pulling the cable or wire and the other moving freely forward to grasp it in turn, when the lever movement is reversed.
